I guess it hasn’t been quite a year since I disabled Project TMI. If you were a prior subscriber, you probably got a copy of the post that caused me to take the whole thing down. And if you’d been reading this blog for any length of time, you probably quickly recognized that that was NOT my work. That pile of garbage was more like the drunken rambling confessional of a serial killer than the straightforward, to the point, unadulterated (and yet mostly anonymous) content that I post here.
I mean, to be fair, the person who wrote it was not mentally stable. Like… in a “danger to himself and others” kind of way. As a result, I’ve been living under the radar, intentionally, for some time. I’ll probably (at least physically) stay that way for the foreseeable future. But I concluded, after thinking long and hard about it, that I’ve done a crap ton of work just to let it all go.
And, anyway, every good story always needs a villain, right?
So… here we are.
At any rate, all you need to know is this: the old site was hacked. I’ve since moved the old domain to the new digs that you’re viewing this post in now. The old posts have been archived. They’re in the process of being re-edited, cleaned up, and will be back here eventually (but under new and improved security). Anything new will appear on this page, where you’re reading this, and then will be archived via the Table of Contents tab at the top. You probably see quite a few other tabs at the top that have “Coming Soon” on the pages they lead to – that’s because they’re not ready yet… but content is coming. I promise.
I’ve got a lot more work to do on this thing, but I at least wanted to get this back up and running on or around the 1-year anniversary of the KFC debacle… and to give myself a platform to write on.
Because, you know, while I may disappear for a minute to get my bearings, there’s never a time when I don’t come back bigger, better, and stronger than before.
Additionally, I’m in the planning and development phases of a new podcast and YouTube channel that’ll have its own unique content (and that will also be featured on its own tab). So if you are someone that doesn’t like to read (and if you don’t like to read, then what are you doing here?), you’ll have other options for Project TMI entertainment.
Welcome back.
It’s good to be home.
